Well I went to the presentation, and then we got to the special awards part of it. For each of these, there was a citation (i.e "Marie-Claire has done sooooooo well in maths this year" "Mark is a wonderful student who has kept up with his studies depite nearly losing his eyebrows in car accident" "Jenny has done soooooo well at netball this year, she's an assett to the school" and so on) But can you guess which student DID NOT have a citation? That's right, me. All Everett said was "The Fredric Gale prize goes to Richard Cooper." That's all. Not one word about what the prize was or why I'd got it. AND EVERYONE else was given gush, especially the one given the languages award and of course Everett teaches languages and has taught him, while she couldn't give a flying f*** about me or English.
When I got home I found the citation was inside the book token presented to me, but EVERETT HADN"T READ IT OUT.
When I was there two years ago to get my GCSE certificates, the previose winner of the FG award, believe me HE got a citation ("Simon is an original thinker") and so on, but then again his english teachers had the goddamned grace to be there to read it out.
Christ it depressed me.

I have several things to say;
(1) ryan you are a dumb ass it does not take the mental deduction of sherlock holmes to change spanelli to Ellie. the photo may have given a clue but i expect you were distracted by my "breasts".
(2) Coop the world is cruel and in very sorry you dident get the respect you deserve. to be honest what does anything that comes out of Everett's mounth stand for any way?! take the opinions of intellectual equals or at least friends not a person who hardly knows you.
(3) two towers out today hurrah!!! Shanking
